Noetic positivism is a synthetic concept to define a new, explanatory social science.

 The question is simple...        HTTP://NOETICPOSITIVISM.COM/

At least once in their life each person, questions why does he, or she, live? Some ponder why mankind actually exists, what is the purpose of personal existence. For all the similarity in the thought and cognition systems of the intelligent human, Homo sapiens, each individual will arrive at answers to these questions in very much their own, unique, way. But irrespective of the cultural, ethnic, political, economic, social, psychological and other specifics views and convictions, the human being is, first and foremost, a social phenomenon. As a result inquiries of a supra-individual nature need constant social scrutiny and comment; and answers should be true not just for today, but also for tomorrow at the very least....

The main question is ‘What do I, a human being, live for?’ It has been sitting in my consciousness for a long time, like the strictest of judges, and demanding the one correct answer. I believe that such questions trouble each of us sooner or later, be it those who have lived or those who are alive now; and I dare to hope that similar concepts will disturb our descendants. But what answer can I give? And what answer can all the others give? More accurately, much can be said in reply, but it will just be words. Without a shadow of doubt it is true that experience is nowadays, as indeed it always has been, the best way of checking any postulation or theory for its truth. A theory is dead if it has not been tested. But is testing, or the conditions for its implementation, capable of taking responsibility for the correctness of deductions or the correctness of their interpretation? That’s not a question for physicists.
Therefore if we are to find the right answer to this question, the question of categories of values, we must all without exception, here and now, before the testing, adopt, admit and agree to one single code of rules and regulations for everyone; a single codex with whose help we will be able to assess objectively the validity of the test, or the ‘correctness’ of the experiment.
Of course that is not possible at one go for everyone without exception, or at least not at present (nobody has yet cancelled the processes of globalisation, and they are objective in their significance). Due to various reasons and circumstances it is impossible to adopt one single code of rules and regulations for everyone. We have to take into account first of all differences between the cultural values of peoples, and then continue via questions of gender identification, the social situation, the economic structure of societies and differences in religious outlook (obviously these are still not all the reasons, and certainly not all the circumstances, but the ones I have listed are the most important). Thus it is that the answer which any culture or, more accurately, representative of a culture will give to the question ‘What do I live for?’ will be quite different in its content and ideas.
